Was Jesus pompous when he allowed some woman to pour expensive perfume on his feet?

or was it the woman who's pompous for pouring the expensive perfume on Jesus' feet?Was Jesus pompous when he allowed some woman to pour expensive perfume on his feet?
No, that is just kind of gay. I hope the woman was naked. Then it would balance out.Was Jesus pompous when he allowed some woman to pour expensive perfume on his feet?
Neither. He is God as is Just in receiving worship and adoration.
No, He was perfect. He allowed the woman to do something nice for Him. Nothing pompous about that. If He had commanded her to do it, that would be another story. But the woman did it without being asked.
No, he knew that God created foot fetishes too.
Jesus was not being pompous, but the woman was being extravagant in her adoration of Jesus.

People who say that teh Catholic Church is way too pompus and extravagant in their worship of God sound a lot like Judas in this scene.

The great big cathedrals of the Catholic Church are an expression of the peoples devotion to God and a reflection of the greatness of God.

Peter Gabriel said it best, ';and I will pray to a big god

as I kneel in the big church.';
I agree with Christian. The woman better have been naked!
I don't know about being pompous, but perhaps he had a foot fetish?
Neither was pompous. Why would a weeping person who has experienced ostracism be regarded as pompous?Why would Jesus, who had been neglected by the host for the simple hospitality task of washing dust off his feet be regarded as pompous? True, the story is dramatic. This sinner wanted a new life spiritually; and the Holy Spirit inspired her to perform a memorable task. The lesson: let us not forget to be hospitable; and when you reject a task, God has a humble person ready to complete it.
i receive foot rubs from my bf . i never ask..he just does it because he loves me.
you just don' get it do you....

she was at the feet of the Lord, washing his feet with the tears of a sinners shame and gratitude of salvation...she had washed his feet and then anointed his feet with the perfume; which was a custom to perform toward an honored guest in that time...it was also a representation which pointed forward to his burial preparation....

he was accepting worship and honor that is his is right and due as the Christ....
Yeah he was pompous
